Bad: It is more expensive than the metals
Bad: It has a much higher flaw rate.

Neutral: All the arguments about detail, convertibility, ease of re-painting, weight etc are much more subjective, and probably about even on both sides.

By the way, did you have a look for any one of the 17,386 threads on finecast already open?
EDIT: Look here for some.

Bad: More expensive
Bad: Prone to miscasts
Bad: Much less durable
Bad: A good summer heat destroys it
Bad: Some glues and many agents used to strip the paint destroy it

Good: Uh... it's lighter?

Ummm, in some circumstances I'd count that as a disadvantage. The only time weight is an issue is with larger models that would require pinning if they were in metal, and even then it would generally about the same amount of time to pin the metal components as it takes to fill all the holes in a FC model. In a man sized model the weight of metal is a major plus in its favour.
