any hobby store will have them. look under jewelry or such and you'll find fine chains.

Awesome. I was just thinkin about this today. Not what chain to use, but how to keep it still or frozen in place. Like if I wanna have chains draped on the body or hanging off his weapon( like on the nurgle daemon prince) how can I do that? Cover it in glue maybe? Some kinda sealant?

glue does the trick. I get it in the position I want, then hit all the links with glue.

Does the glue fill up the holes in the links though? I've had that happen before on a flat chain and it looked goofy.

Just be careful. The glue/brush combo should help avoid that. I never really cared if it happened, because if it did, I'd just paint the hole in instead

PVA glue dries clear. Try using that, though I'd still be careful not to fill in the links.

I have some fine chain from a supplier in UK, can't remember the name off hand at work, PM me to remind me and i will have a look in my drawers for the company i got, but it might be scale-link or similar, try googling that as a starter for 10 :)

Hope that helps.

Ladies' craft stores often have jewelry bits, including various styles of chain and metal wire.

If you can find any, find the really cheap, watery superglue. That stuff runs like no one's business. Useless in most situations, but when it comes to chain, it's a very useful feature. The glue runs into and around all the links, holding it in place really well.
