I'm still waiting impatiently for my VC to arrive, but at least I can plan a bit in the meantime...

I wondered how many options there is for the vargheist and black knight sets?

Are there only 3 vargheist and 3 crypt horror heads in the package?

Are there more than 3 sets of wings?

Are there enough arms that you can make either 10 BK's with lances or 10 with swords?

Any accessories?

Sorry if this belongs in another forum. I just wasnt sure which

The Black Knight kit only have 5 riders, so 2 boxes to get your 10. 5 lances (3 upright + 2 level) and only 1 sword per box, also only 5 shields.

The nice thing about the BK box is the Hexwraiths are all separate parts from the Black Knights.
-So if you have 5 spare horses you can make a separate unit of them.
-OR if you don't glue on the horse heads or the BK's on you can swap rides.
-OR if you have some green stuff around make the Hexwraiths into a Wraith unit.

Hmm had hoped for spare vargheist heads for another project.

And if I wanted to make black knights with swords Im gonna be disappointed.

Guess Ill use the Hexwraiths for my custom built Mortis Engine

Thanks guys

If you are making Black Knights but have some spare standing legs, the leftover Hexwraiths make great Spirit Hosts.

You should have a billion extra swords from your Grave Guard kits, and if you don't own any Grave Guard bits they should be extremely easy to find for trade.

I still want to know if anyone has successfully magnetized the Dragongheist kit to field both creatures at will, or if it's as futile an enterprise as it seems.

The Dragon / Terrorgheist kit is pretty easily magnetized. Make the body of the zombie dragon (the one that is tall, not crawling) and put together both of the heads, then place a rare earth magnet on each both polarized the same way. Then dremmel out a place for the magnet (with polarity switched) on the dragon body and there you have it!.

The only "odd" thing is that the terrorgheist head is designed for the other positioning of the body, so it is looking skywards like it is roaring. I think it looks good though because it could be using its scream :) Then you just paint up the separate riders and you are good to go.

So to make a short story long: you can totally magnetize it.

If you use magnets you could have either 5 BKs or 5 HWs.

Or, as others have said, just get a few old skeleton steeds and have both. ;)
