This is going to sound relatively ridiculous, but while i fully intend to make it out to chicago for Games Day do I actually have to be in Chicago to receive the figure? Or does it come in the mail with my ticket?

Not sure if it's the same State side, but over here we get it when we buy the ticket.

In the UK we get our mini with the ticket

Last year, you had to be there at the show to get the mini. It was for sale, on the tables near the registers.

However, you weren't charged for the mini unless you wanted it at the show so I saw that as a plus.

IN the UK we get the min when we buy our tickets, and then on the day we can buy another one if we wish to.

When I went to GD Los Angeles (when they still had it), we never got the mini in the mail. You had to go to the event to pick up the mini's, though they sometimes give out other goodies too if you were there early (free Gandalf and Frodo mini's, free Ork Nob and SM terminator sprue, posters, etc).

Sorry guys, just to clarify I can get one in the UK just by buying a ticket? I don't have to attend? Sweet!

why would you want to buy the ticket then not bother going?

I was wondering in a similar vein, re UK games day, I doubt I'll be going, but so want the model, so could I ask one of my mates who'll be going to pick one up for me, or are they strictly one per ticket holder, I.e can't buy surplus ones?
