Hi, Im just trying some meta, and would like to see what you would play. No restrictions, 2400 pts, the hardest VC-list you can think of. Go!

I wont post my best list, but here are the essentials:
Lvl 3-4 Necro
Wight King/ Mounted/ Lance/ BSB/ Magic R 3/ Charmed S
40 Ghouls
(3 Spirit Hosts / 1 unit of hex wraiths / Crypt Horrors/ and zombies)
5+ Bloodies with BoBK

This can all be fit into a 2.5 game. I usually also add wolves, a cart, and a lvl 2 necro.

Essentially put your General in Ghouls behind Blood Knights. Put Wight in Blood K unit. They have 2++ ward against ranged magic / 4++ against range/ of course a 2+ and can be rezed back pronto. I would also suggest several lvl 2s running around in case your opponent is able to block an important IoN.

I havent played for a while but how does one deploy or plan on moving that unit of 335 zombies? Or is this thread just dreamhammer? No offense to anyone ofc.

Edit: not the logistics aspect of moving it. But I mean, could you fit it on the table and have space for turning it or would it just move forward :)

You could put it down as a 10x33 block, which would be about 8"x26". Not that unmanageable ;).

VC ain't what they used to be. We are solid but no longer spectacular. If you are wonder what armies you need to tailor for its Ogres and Skaven.

As for VC. Zombies are probably the best tarpits in the game now, Grave Guard and Ghouls are still decent. Dire Wolves, Fellbats and Spirit hosts run interference well. Of the new stuff Mortis Engine and Crypt Horrors are very good. Vargheists and Hexwraiths are matchup dependent, very fragile but powerful.
