First, any idea how many will come to a box. Second, looking at the sneak peek pics...am I mistaken or do they all have huge breasts? I live with my parents and it would be embarrassing to say the least...

EDIT: Also, any idea what the other Forest Spirit models look like?

i had not noticed the huge breasts, but you may be right

EDIT: if those are breasts then modelling standard has gone downhill!!

FURTHER EDIT: NO they are not breasts

Only 12! Thats a bit of a rip-off. The only other box that contains 12 are chaos warriors and by the looks of it you dont get as much plastic for your money. They better be the most detailed plastics that gamesworkshop has ever done.

We all know GamesWorkshop sets the prices attending to game values so there must be a reason for the Dryads to come in dozens.

well..... a high T, and multiple A, core skirmish unit,.... it might be me, but isn`t that,.. well...quite a high game value (seem emough to compensate the loss of (16-12= 4) 4 models)

Well, I think they are breasts. But have you ever seen pics of tribal women? They don't exactly have the nice round asthetic of the west.

indeed, methinks they are as dryads are supposed to be a cross between old hag women and trees according to their designer. also note that in both the sneak peak and army box there are 16 dryads, so it's pretty safe to say that's how much you'll be getting

Those don't look like huge breasts to me. It's just their chests.

only the dryad hero as brests all the rest are asexual .....dryads and chaos warriors share the 12 model box this is because they're bigger models and thus slitly bigger bases so they dont think you need more

Bah, the Marauders and Sauruses too used 25mm bases, but they got 16 models per box. And assuming the rumours about the Dryads points cost are true you'll definently be able to fit more than twelve into your list! I still think we might see 16 Dryads per box.

Definately 12, confirmed by many people

According to a local Red Shirt, it will be 12 per box. Therefore the army box will have a box + a sprue.

Also, the box itself may still be £15, rather than £18, but I (and my source) may be wrong on that...)

I guarantee you the box will be £18.

GW isn't going to sell it for £15 when it could just as easily put it out for £18.

I still believe they will be 16 a box. They aren't that big (ie don't have much plastic in them) and, if rumours are to be believed, aren't that powerful.

So my vote is £18 for 16.

12 for 15 and 16 for 18 would both be good prices IMO.

In relation to current GW prices, or prices as of 5 years ago? :p

AFAIK, there should be 12 Dryads in each box.

I have a horrible suspicion it'll be 12 for £18. Which is a massive rip

I don't know what rumours you've seen, but the ones I've seen suggest that their stats remain pretty much unchanged, but that they now cost a few points less than a Chaos Warrior (is that vague enough not to get in trouble?). Combined with skirmish that would seem to make them both hard and flexible. I do hope there's 16 in a box though. 12 isn't really enough to make a decent-sized unit, and 24 would be too many.

Gentlemen: Confirmation!

From French GW release shedule (http://fr.games-workshop.com/news/sorties.asp): DRYADES: Boite Régiment 12 Figurines Plastique; Boxed regiment with 12 plastic figures.

Well i'll be. It wasn't 16 after all! :D

It also states that the Army Book will be 80pages and, rather vaguely, that the WE battalion will contain 44 figures. *does maths* So thats (possibly) 12 Dryads, 8 Glade Riders, and 24 GG?

That sounds about right. Usually the army boxes has something like 3 normal-sized boxes and one smaller box.
This has 3.5 normal-sized boxes instead, which is slightly worse but not unexpected due to the rise in regiment box prices.
