It's at least news for me. Seems that they really made their range larger.

Thanks for the info!

As long as devlan mud is still there Im happy, nothing else even matters :)

How much do you think a mega paint set will cost?

Sod... Now I have to figure out how to replicate my color scheme for the fifth time!
And my base-wash style seem to be heading for a beating.

There will be a conversion guide in a white dwarf apparently, so dont despair, that is unless you feel the need to becasue you have to buy a white dwarf! :)

I hope they put it up on their website eventually, otherwise I'll have to find somebody to scan it/type it out.

This is kind of intimidating at first, but I am enjoying all the Skaven names.

As if they would get rid of all their silvers, D'oh. YOu will just find they are called something else! :)

Yes but means I have a hader time planning my purchases. I am on tight budget.

Why

This is going to be cool but annoying, I just started to get somewhere with painting my army now I have to take the time to figure out my scheme again, AAARRRRGGGHHHH!

Reports are that the prices won't change. Unless you need to know the actual name weeks in advance, you can just wait until they are released and check around on the forum for someone posting the name conversion chart. Once you learn that "Auric Armor" means mithril silver, or whatever, youa re good to go.

The consistency has changed as well as the colours ...

I think I will continue my foray into Vallejo paints and possibly explore Reaper paints too. Though depending on the shades they release I may continue to buy the occasional pot...

When will this paint line be issued? :S, I for one am really excited to paint with a wider selection of different types of paints : D.

Edit: Wth is the "Dry" category? Paints that are already ruined? :P

What type of pots are these? I am begging for dropper bottles but it's probably in vain.

Also, these names have trumped the old paints in terms of confusing the hell out of new hobbyists. Half of the paints don't even include the actual ******** color in the title! Nuln oil just cracks me up....

Same as the current pots. I doubt GW would ever do droppers given they push for painting straight from the bottle.

What the crap color is XV-88?

Also, if these are in the same pots I won't even bother with them.

......I don't like visiting GW stores, for a variety of reasons, so I guess I'll just switch over to vallejo or reaper paints as at least I know what colors I'll be purchasing with those. I don't have a clue what a fair amount of those colors are.

I think the new range of colors and "new" types of paints will give painters new tools, which is awesome! Hopefully the containers will seal more reliably though...

Might go and buy myself some more supplies of Baddab Black, I think I would have far too much trouble pronouncing Nuln Oil.

Sotek Green... god I hope not.
Sotek is meant to be red! RED!

Well, we'll see how the new colour range goes. I'm sure there'll be some colours missed, and some ace new colours as well. Just hopefully the consistancy is alright.

Sorry, I don`t have any idea of when this range is coming :(

As I see it, there are going to be sets of paints of different categories (dry/base ect..) with the only main colors included.

Its a shame really, that they are totaly changing the range.... I better buy like 5 Hawk Turqoiuses, goblin greens, DA greens and bleached bones!

Is it going to be thicker or thinner. If they make their paints any thicker then I will have to water them down in the can before I even think of painting. If they make it thinner then :)
It's exciting all in all but only after the 2 month it take sme to get my bearings with this new stuff then hopefully my skaven can field more than 20 skaven slaves, painted that is.

I'd heard something about the sands being "replaced", but I haven't the faintest how they're going to do it with a paint..? Any hints on how it's going to work Mr. Pieman? :)

Caelas

According to BoLS NOTHING is leaving the range.

From the other thread it said the bases will be like thinner foundations. GW is always going for straight out of the bottle use.
