Can any/everyone please tell me what pieces on the sprue's of the command barge are not used when making the Annihilator Barge.

If you could annotate and or make reference to these pictures (http://www.modelbits.co.uk/Warhammer+40k/Necrons/Command+and+Annihilation+Barge.htm) would be helpful.

also, the Official Website says the kit comes with 2 sets of transfer sheets. is it one of each of these (http://www.modelbits.co.uk/Bases+and+Transfers/Transfer+Sheets/Necron+Transfer+Sheet+2011.html).

Also, why isnt bits like the prow there? what are purpose of them 'In-Universe' wise..

I believe the only bits you don't use are the Bardge Command Console (http://www.modelbits.co.uk/Warhammer+40k/Necrons/Command+and+Annihilation+Barge/Necron+Command+and+Annihilation+Barge+Command+Cons ole.html?osCsid=5e35afbf3fbf4bbf68015527678731ac), and the Overlord (http://www.modelbits.co.uk/Warhammer+40k/Necrons/Command+and+Annihilation+Barge/Necron+Command+and+Annihilation+Barge+Overlord.htm l?osCsid=5e35afbf3fbf4bbf68015527678731ac).

However, the Overlord is a very nice model on its own, if you have a spare base for him.

The barge is designed to be used as either--the gun doesn't have to glue in, so you can switch back and forth. That said, in a annihilation barge the command console is unused. (It comes with a base for an overlord on foot).

In addition, two guns will be unused--whether you make it a tesla barge or a gauss barge will decide which are extra. Then there is one last option--the front of the barge can either have a large prow or a small circular piece on front.

But thats it! Almost all the pieces are used in that kit.

Actually, I believe you can fit in the secondary gun without glue, allowing you to swap them if you want (although the gauss one is better ;)).

Thanks for all your replies. What about the Transfers that come with it?

What do you mean the Gauss Cannon looks better then the Underslug Tesla Cannon? or do you mean in Game terms?

He likely means in game terms as you'll be shooting up to AV13 with the thing, but the Tesla Cannon isn't powerful enough to hurt that, so the Gauss Blaster makes more sense. This is just a guess however

With regard to the transfers... I've honestly no idea. I can't recall using any of my Necron transfers, so I've no idea if there are some you won't need. :p

That was indeed what I meant - gauss can hurt any vehicle, whilst the secondary tesla can only glance AV12, and gets -3 to the damage chart in doing so.

I think the kit actually does come with a base for the overlord

The normal kit does, but I got the impression that Borg451 was trying to get an Annihilator Barge by buying the pieces seperatly online - and the overlord pieces advertised don't appear to come with a base.

I built one and here is everything that came in the box (the console is actually several parts) besides the water slide transfers which must have gone on vacation without me. I included both guns as I swap them (I had to cut the mounting's peg, but you would never notice).
