View Full Version : Counts as fortification

Just a quick thought. I don't play fantasy battle, I do however have the temple of skulls and wanted to use it as a landing pad for my daemons. Looking for thoughts and feedback, is this something that would be frowned upon in a pick up game at any LGS?

Its come up before, and generally seems like a cool idea. You'll need to think of some way to represent furled and unfurled, unless you want it to always be in one position.

Ohh, on the furled/unfurled bit, take coloured over-head projector plastic sheets, use a lighter to heat warp them a bit and then paint them with glazes to use as warp portal/ energy field between pillars placed around the temple top, maybe add a sacrificial pit in the centre aswell?

Yeah, for casual friendly games it's acceptable as is, but for serious gaming, you need to do some conversion to make it closely match the dimensions of the standard landing pad. I like the idea, but as above posters have said, you need something to count-as the folding sides.
