It's an old Chaos Champion from 1989, designed by Jes Goodwin. I don't remember if he had a name, the 89 catalogue lists it only as 021903, but I'm almost certain it had a name when I bought it some time ago (10 years?) from GW. It was in the old miniatures/bits section then, but I can't seem to find it at all on there site now.

Yeah, he's just a really old Chaos Champion model sadly. Although with the right paint scheme, I think he is a very bad ass looking Tzeetch Sorcerer.

Ha! Funny you should say that, I used him for that exact purpose!

Being as it's still available on the GW website, I'd say it can be worth a smidge less than what they're charging for it.

His name is Jim. He had a troubled childhood, thanks largely in part to his alcoholic father and cruel overweight mother, and it didn't take long for Jim to fall into the wrong crowd and get into trouble.

Loosening the bolts on the steamtank wheels, replacing dispel scrolls with shopping lists, and even stealing the shoes of dedicated swordmen. In the end Jim was cast out of his village and he was forced to fend for himself in the wild.

After loosing a testicle to a wondering squig, Jim decided some way of protecting himself was in order and sneaked back to the village cemetery. Digging up the grave at night soon gave him a large collection of bones and Jim used these to create a suit of armor for himself.

To be honest it was a terrible idea. For starters it smelled horrible, but worst of all it didn't really help him. It restricted his movements, constantly gave him pokes and cuts, and the bones seemed to even guide sharp sticks through them so they could be lodged in his flesh.

Jim was going to cast it aside when a group of villagers saw him. He was about to flee when to his surprise the villagers fell to their knees and begged for mercy! Listening to their cries it soon became apparent that they thought him to be a warrior of chaos! In their minds who else would wear such gruesome armor?

Using this to his advantage and used fear to get whatever he wished. Food, weapons, women, to get any of these he needed nothing more than to raise his hands and roar.

The weeks passed by pleasantly for Jim until one fateful day word of his 'terror' reached the local authorities and in quick order a detachment of knights was sent out to execute him. Luckily Jim saw them coming and was able to escape.

Now he passes his years travelling from town to town, pretending to be a mighty warrior of chaos and getting whatever he wants as no man would dare pick a fight with a man with a suit of bone armor...

Malorian, that was totally hilarious !!

On the model front, when I bought mine (still have it somewhere), it was labeled "Chaos Sorcerer" and came with a round base ... somewhere back in the nineties, it was one of my first second-have models, when there weren't any GW shop in Belgium and some of the "RPGs" shops sold a couple of miniatures in bins ...

After loosing a testicle to a wondering squig

What about this testicle made the squig wonder?

And why was it loose in the first place?

What about this testicle made the squig wonder?

This is a question that many goblins have stopped to think about... moments before they are devoured by the same squig.
