well, sort of....Ive been thinking of doing an ad mech army for a while but seeing the sucess other people have had recently I thought I'd jump in at the deep end and have a go. ( not that it will be as good as any of the others I've seen)

i like the Conversions, but the Chevrons on the base don't look too good, the unpainted ones on pic 3 look cool, but they'd look even better painted ;)

keep up the good work

I'm having a hard time viewing your work due to the bird's eye angle of your pictures. Is it possible to take them from adifferent angles?

You seem to have some cool things going on but I just can't make it out that well.

- Yah, cut the chevrons on the bases. They detract from your nice painting, IMO. What are those poles on the backs of those guys (Servitors?) meant to be?

aah, GCSEs are not fun, but i'm just entering the Fun world of A levels.....

as per no-use4a-name, some ground level pics would be awesome

What does the unit on the large bases count as?

they look quite nice, but I echo the comments about the photo angles, and the chevron bases.

Also, I would strongly recommend getting hold of some guitar wire, it would be a big improvement on the cables that youve made of greenstuff.

any ideas on the army list?

08-05-2006, 15:18
im not quite sure what my exact list will be but im using the lost and the damned, the guys on big bases are cou ting as spawn...they were meant to be electro priests....maybe ill make some new ones...

08-05-2006, 18:37
ok here are some more pics, including a "sentinel" made from a pemitent engine ( it is my god given right to own a gun that big...) sorry about the poor pics btw ill try to do some better ones

ive finished the servitors ( mutants) and im half way through my skittarri ive also come up with an army list:

aspiring champ ( magos) with power weapon

15 traitors (skittarri)with lascannon and plasma gun

16 nurgle mutants (Servitors) with experimental weapons ( firearms) 2 flamers and a boss with powerfist.

3x 5 skittarri with heavy bolter( 1 squad has chimera with 2 heavy flamers)

10 marines with 2 plasma guns

5 spawn ( electro priests)

2 sentinels with autocannon

total 1000pts
what do you think? can anybody think of any ways of making it more competitive while sticking to the theme?

anyhoo here are some more pics
