Hello out there!!

I've a question for you....

Is there anywhere I can get some of the old citadel paints, specially the Badab Black wash.

I've tried the new Nuln Oil but the results are not the same.

I need the wash, to continue with some of my current projects: Nids, Dark Eldar, Necrons and Tau.

Thank you very much for your help!

PD: Sorry for my English (Actually I'm spanish, and live in Spain, well the Canary Islands, for more details)

Very unlikely.

You need to actually say where you live for people to help. I, personally am able to easily find the previous range of paints where I live. Doesn't hepl you, though!

They do appear on eBay, but prices are getting a bit silly... Badab and Devlan are on for about 5 a pot....

Ebay has all of them, but as Crube says, they are getting more expensive. Vallejo and Cote d'arms have almost perfect analogs of all the old paints and the Army painter range has essentially identical washes to Badab black and Devlan mud.

Army painter warpaints range. Dark tone is badab black, strong tone is devlan mud. 100% the same.

I've recently got the army painter ones, and I can confirm that they are very good substitutes. The devlan mud one isn't 100% though, but close enough to do the job.

Perhaps more useful than my original smart-aleck reply, is my little review of their washes, which I have been very happy with:

you can also try putting a small amount of Lahmian Medium into the washes dulls them down ang gives an effect very close to the old washes taking away the anoying shine.

Have a look at our review for the Army Painter Warpaint Inks: http://taleofpainters.blogspot.de/2012/04/review-army-painter-warpaint-inks.html
Badab Black, Devlan Mud and Gryphonne Sepia live on as Dark Tone, Strong Tone and Soft Tone.

Go with Vallejo for paint replacement and army painter for washes. :D
