Hi, I've written this list as a proposal for my brother to use at the next tournament that allows Chaos Dwarfs. The lone Hobgoblin Khans are there to irritate the enemy by hunting warmachines and characters, and doing other meek tasks which single characters. The BSB Castellan will begin the games in the Infernal Guard unit and may stay with it to bolster the main horde, or he may jump out of it at leisure and glue an enemy unit of choice stuck thanks to his stubborn rule and durability.

What do you think of this army list? Is it cheesy, bad, or may it be oddball yet balanced? Your thoughts, please, folks. :)

This is exactly the list I think of when I think Chaos dwarves.

I would play it and I love the magic carpet idea.

I too liked the magic carpet BSB, but sadly I discovered one can't put a character with carpet in units. That ruins the element of surprise, and thus the list has to be adjusted.

Cant he just stand next to it? Still has a rerollable AS and a 4+ Look out sir.

That would work, and I might try that. But it wouldn't surprise the opponent nearly as much as the BSB flying out of the main horde to attack one of the opponent units single-handedly. ;)

I dont have the rulebook on me at the moment but if the were seperate wouldnt the BSB be able to charge one unit and the horde charge another seperate enemy unit? If they were together the BSB could charge out but IIRC the horde wouldnt be able to declare a seperate charge meaning by just making him stand by the side you give yourself more options, it would still be a surprise as i dont think anyone would imagine he would have the carpet.
