Got a post in my news feed from North Star Games today about
maelstrom - seems they've finally closed down, owing not just suppliers but customers quite large amounts of money.
It's a shame, but it seems we all k remit was on the cards -
The separating of EOTS and Mierce from MG seems to have been to protect them from the fallout.
Anyone here got open orders? What have you been told? Are you owed money?

Yeah, one of the lads on the Irish WM/H page got in contact with the ETC organisers and they said they'd been split off. And as someone who's spent thousands over the last few years with them, they still never sent an actual email saying they were closing, which is kind of insulting really.

Well, they have and haven't.

Maelstrom appears to have liquidated and a new company called Eye of the Storm ltd. is in exactly the same premises. Whether they're the same entity remains to be seen.

Such a shame to see them go. Had nothing but good service from them.

Ultimately, the Australian embargo by GW killed them.

Chaos & Evil - so GW forced them to take orders for items they couldn't fulfil? Such as the customer who ordered 150 worth of X-Wing and now is out of pocket?
Sorry, don't buy that.
As for EOTS - looks like they're trying to distance themselves, but
Note that this hasn't come from them, but a supplier who felt it necessary to tell people.
