No pictures of the 'Fex yet?

Any painted pics of the Tyrant with a weapon fit other than bonesword, lash whip & venom cannon?

Will the UK Games Day mini be the same as the US one? The Vet Sarge with a right handed power fist?

Oh yeah, I kinda new to this but how much does it usually cost to go for GDs?

Same figure for all GDs in 2005. Last year was £20 for entry only. New venue this year, the National Exhibition Centre, might push that upwards.

Sweet better book the day off for the 26th ... no.1 son will be attending his first GD.

Earlier than I expected. 8 Stealers for £15  Hope they come with all the biomorphs that have been mentioned to make up for the cost. Busy re-painting 56 of the old ones for my revamped Nid army!

Tyrant Guard (1 figure blister £10) 25th June

OUCH!!! That's gonna be costly for a 'meat shield' Still have designed to convert one (or more) of these to a Biovore.

Forgive my ignorance, but where is the NEC? Is it also in Birmingham? Will be back at uni then, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to make it down...

Yes it is, if you're at Edinburgh uni you should be able to fly down cos it's right opposite the airport!

NEC and NIA are two different venues on the east and west side of Birmingham. UKGD is held at the NIA just outside the city centre. If you get a coach or train into the city centre the NIA is a few minutes walk from the top of Broad St in the centre of town ...

LINKY WINY to MULTIMAP (http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=406250.785240775&Y=286750.218198979&width=500&height=300&gride=&gridn=&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=GB&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&zm=0&scale=5000&upleft.x=1&upleft.y=6)

B'ham NEC is about 1mile from the B'ham airport... however that's about 15/20miles away from UKGD at the NIA ....

NIA homepage has all the info for the venue and travel links LINKY WINKY II (http://www.necgroup.co.uk/visitor/thenia/)

The NIA is very much IN the City Centre (Just off broad street/Centinery Square)...

NEC would make for a far better venue IMO...

Yeah, thanks for the link, I've been to the NIA before.

Was asking about the NEC as that's the venue for this year's GD ;)

Oh and Easyjet don't fly Ed-Brum. Curses! Have to go with evil Flybe and their crazy airport tax

Bigger isn't necessarily better. The last few GDs have been very overcrowded. The last one was better as there were fewer pre-pubescent kids due to the new policy. I wonder what the capacity of the part of the NEC they're using is?

Actually having read my newly arrived UKWD ... UK Gamesday is MOVING to the NEC from the NIA ... I'll get me coat! :)

It's further from me. A whole half hour extra on the journey :D On the plus side for UK gamers the NEC is near the M6/M40/M42 motorways, there's a train station on the doorstep and for those coming in from further afield its right next door to Birmingham International Airport. Personally I think the site is better general access for everyone around the country. The NEC is frickin' hoooooge so there should be plenty of space. As TT says the past few UKGDs' have been very crowded I think GD has outgrown the NIA. I'll miss the NIA though. Getting ready to pre-order my GD tickets...
