OK so i'm thinking on slowly starting bretonnia and using the gamezone models as they are SOO much better looking. Bah it will be dumb expensive though... Does anyone know if the base sizes are the same as GW? and do the models fit on the bases if not?
I might just use gamezone knights and GW peasants.

Here is a linky

Holy crap, those are the best Grail Knights I've ever seen!

I picked up some of the knights a few years back off of Bartertown - they had a surprising number of gaps for the price.... Anyway, should make for an awesome army - I love the Imperial line of figs too. In fact, I just converted the Brave Little Page Boy into my Mordheim warband this morning.

Gamezone do some nice models, I've been using their "Empire" for my Estallian army.

Have your greenstuff ready - the gaps are coming. It's the curse of metal cavalry - GameZone tends to be struck with it more often than not.

I think these might make good alternative Razorgors

I like these as well, GW dont do a good mounted Vamp but these look excellent:

Maybe alternative mortis engine/nurgle warshrine:

Love the Gamezone sculpts but wish they would have a different process or material for their models.

Those knights are cool but dont fit with brets as well as they do empire. Will be a good looking army no matter what you use it for though.

I've been painting some of the gamezone bretonnian stuff and the attention to detail on the sculpts is pretty damn impressive. Didn't find the gaps horrific but yes you'll need to greenstuff every join.

Likewise. I have some grail knights to use as Bret Characters and they are excellent models which sadly do not assemble all that excellently. But they look so good once you put the work in. And they fit on a standard cavalry size base just fine. One point to make is that while they fit, they don't give much in the way of surface for gluing and they are quite weighty. So you may at times need to figure out a way to reinforce the model on the base if you are worried. So far mine have been okay but they are not jostled around too much.

I'd disagree here, at least considering the Grail Knights. The GW Grail Knights, while nice (and even more expensive) don't seem distinctive enough from standard Knights in terms of visual appeal or aesthetic. These do.

They do however wear gothic plate, just like empire knights and in contrast to the "chain + bucket helmet"/13th century look of the GW brets.

Food for thought

I think I'm going to use one of the GZ grail knights as a lord. They look pretty sick with those detailed lances.
