Hello all,

I've finally got my act together and painted a few test models for my up and coming 30k World Eaters. If you want a more thorough explanation of how I came up with these colour schemes, go check out my blog at www.thepaintingbunker.com

They look great, the weathering and skin tone are especially good. How have you done the highlights on the shoulder pads, they look very smooth. Also are you planning on doing 30k points worth of them?! :P

They look stunning - and I really like the blog posts. These are a real inspiration for me to learn some techniques and tidy up my rather modest attempt at 30k WEs!

Are the shoulder pads airbrushed? It looks like it from your blog?

Saw these on your blog yesterday. They look great, and they are super close to what I was planning to do with mine.

Fantastic marines, and a brilliant tutorial too. Strangely I preferred the brown one before the pads and arms were added, and the grey one after the pad and arms were added. So I guess that means I prefer the grey one.

Have you seen the new bikers yet? Man I think I'm gonna have to expand my allied detachment to a full army using these things. So pretty.

Nice work! I think I prefer the one with the brown undercoat as well.

For what it's worth, grey undercoat/wash with more of a brown tone to the metals is how I would do it (and will be doing it) :)
