Is it stated anywhere what Sept does she hails from?

Not sure. If her mostly white armour is her sept markings (with the the beige guns being "standard" colour) that would suggest that Ta'u is her homeworld- since the sept marking colour for Ta'u is white, and the standard Studio army (beige with white sept markings) is for Ta'u.

She's from T'au, isn't she?

I think so. It would make sense as to why she was one of Puretides greatest pupils. Its hard to be a pupil of a man when you don't live on the same planet than him (at least, in Tau space).

But surely that would mean she should be from Dal'yth as that is the sept Puretide hailed from ;)

You and your 'facts' :p

Didn't he relocate to Tau though?

Given that O'Shovah- also one of his greatest pupils, hailed from Vior'la, I doubt that there's any limitation on where the pupils can come from- they all went to Puretide's location to learn from him.

The full name (and thus Sept of origin) of O'Shaserra was never given AFAIK.

As was previously pointed, her armour markings point to Tau.
But the markings only reflect the Sept the Cadre came from, but it might not be the case for every individual within that Cadre, particularly in the upper echelons...

This is even more of a possibility in the case of Shadowsun!
Because, after her 300 years-long sleep (since the members of her original Cadre would be long dead by then), she could have been "assigned" the best possible Cadre coming from Tau (the Sept where she was at the moment) and thus her markings may not reflect her true Sept of origin.

Officially, no, but during the writing of the previous Tau Empire Codex, it was Dal'yth. That may have made it into a novel somewhere.

True but then they seem to have dropped her whole "Sisters" bit from the new Codex too.

The Shadowsun novella does mention them.

The Shadowsun novella does mention them.

Does it still give off the Bubblegum Pop vibe? :D
