When did the zone mortalis terrain by Forge World get so cheap? I remember when it first came out it was around 120 pounds per 2'x2' board section. Now it's down to 25 pounds per section or you can get 4 sections for 90 pounds now.

With the price decrease it may actually be worth purchasing now.

Thoughts on this?

I guess people must not have been buying early on.

Hmmm... It was 25 per tile, and 90 per set when I bought it in October last year. Don't recall it being any more expensive before then. The only one I've ever noticed drop in price was the theta complex which went from 25 to 20.

You're right, it's always been 25 per tile and 90 for four.

Lol, that would be a little ridiculous even by FW standards :)

Zone Mortalis tiles are 12" x 12", not 24" x 24".

This. Zone Mortalis is absurdly expensive.

So its actually 90 per square foot of terrain? So for a 6'x4' table your looking at 2140?

Or "just" 360 for a 2'x2' as talked about in the OP.

It's 25 per square foot. Each tile is 12" by 12"

for 4x4 you'd need 16 tiles, 16 X 25 = 400. And you have to paint it...

Exactly. A tile is 1'x1'. An entire 2'x2' section is four of those so you have to buy four of them to make 2x2. To do a 4x4 board you need to buy 16 tiles. I prefer to make my own.
