Here's a question for some of the vets out there! Does anyone know if the turret & mounting from the original razorback will fit onto the current Rhino chasis?

Thanks!

It definitely won't be a simple plug and play assembly. The turret itself fitted into the hull plate in a different way. If you bash the old metal hull plate onto the top of your new rhino then obviously it'll fit fine.

Even if you want to fit it to the newer rhino's plastic turret ring, then all you'd need to do is attach a fitting ring onto the bottom of the old turret.

Thanks for the reply, I was wondering about the whole turret assembly from the old razorback onto the back of a new Rhino

The Mk2 Rhino is larger than the Mk1, specifically the top hatch approx 3 to 4 mm larger length and breadth wise meaning your Mk2 turret base will prob fall through not touching the sides. As said above its almost certainly doable, it's just going to be more work than you'd like.

Thanks for the help!, I think the larger is easier to cope with, will probably involve alot of plasticard!

If you have one, just take the plastic razorback turret base, leave off the pillar and guns, and shave it flat, then glue the old turret atop that.

That works well.

If you are a bit lazy just shave a set of Rhino Doors flat (ie get rid of the rivets) and glue the old Door Plate / Turret Plat straight on top of them
