When there is a shooting unit of 20 models, positioned in 2 ranks of 10. They have 24" range.

Now there is an enemy unit in a small angle to the right of them.
6 models of the 1st rank and 5 models of the 2nd rank are within 24", measured from the model's base.
The remaning models are outside of the 24".

Who can or may shoot?
1# All 20 models?
2# 12 models...? the 6 models of the 1st row and the 6 behind them of the 2nd row.
3# Only the 11 models within shooting range of 24"

Only the models that get line of sight and are in range get to shoot.

The second line uses the line of sight and forward arc of the first line. But models out of range still can't shoot.

Sorry for asking this, but could this also be directed to a page number...?

Looked for it, but cannot seem to find it.

See the Shooting Rules, starting at page 38.

The main point here is that shooting is resolved for each shooting model, not the unit as a whole. This means you may need to group shooting models according to the conditions that affect their shooting, range and cover should be the most important factors.
