I've seen the stuff on eBay already. Pretty well. I wonder though, why does the Wraithknight carry the rune of the Hemlock and the Wraithguard the runes of Dire Avengers?

@ Hendarion; That's what they were before they died.

I've updated my blog with bigger pictures of the Wraithknight. First post has the link but here it is again.

Hmm, interesting idea. Sadly this is the rune of the Hemlock, the vehicle. The rune of a Spiritseer is a different one - if the dude in the Wraithknight has been a Spiritseer in a Hemlock before his death. But I doubt he was a Hemlock, since this isn't a living thing, but a flyer. ;)
One could interpret it though that he's been using a Hemlock before death, what makes me wonder why his stone wasn't put into the Hemlock cockpit instead to help the new pilot doing what he was best in before. Anyway, I guess I'm just a bit of a fluff nerd and thus have been curious. After all, it doesn't really matter what signs are put onto a toy.

The hemlock pilot died (spiritseer I believe) and was interred into the wraithknight suit. Each eldar rune has many different meanings dependant on context. The hemlock rune in this context speaks of the interred soul's past deeds and the death his new incarnation sows.

Why wasn't he interred in another hemlock? Could move for a variety of

Eldar communication has a variety of different meanings and are never stymied to one imagining. ;)

Why wasn't he interred in another hemlock? Could be for a variety of reasons. I doubt that, once dead, you retain all the same faculties of understanding you had in life; this soul was better placed in a wraithknight than a hemlock. You're not the same person after you've died.

I chose the rune because it looked the coolest though, it just seemed to fit the piece.
