Since the previous thread in News & Rumours was closed instead of being kindly moved here to 40k General, I have opened a new thread.

Who has downloaded any of the new Digital Editions books? I would like to get some impressions on the first installment of Warlords of the 41st Millenium (Azrael).

Discuss. :chrome:

Thanks! I don't suppose if you can tell if the Index Astartes stuff is a direct copy of the old WD articles? At that many pages I doubt it, although perhaps the wordcount would be the same.

I am actually looking forward to using these on my Galaxy Tablet actually. The ability to index and search for a rule or stat, plus have several of your books in one neat package, is great.

Platform wars aside, I do not, and will not own an iProduct. If you do, that's great for you, but I do not, and won't be.

I still have about $500 USD of disposable income a month to spend on hobbies (models, books, PC stuff, Martial Arts classes), and would love to give some to GW if I can get a digital set of these books. They work wonders for our Shadowrun games, and Drivethru RPG appreciates my business.

Thanks for posting that overview.

I actually prefer the look & feel of the Digital Editions on the non-Apple tablets. iBooks has silly skeuomorphic pages and faux book leather which makes the actual content frame smaller than it should be.
