I am not incredibly fussy on the warp spider models, I am wondering if any of you have come across a good conversion for them.

Any advice is welcome, Thanks!

For once, I dare disagree with almighty sheep. Best Warp Spiders on WarSeer are here: Dark Apostle's Winter Themed Eldar (http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?93276-Winter-themed-eldar). One's down on p.1, a tutorial how to build them on p.3, and there are some painted ones as well somewhere. In general, that is on of the best Eldar logs here, so reading it all the way through is always a good idea...

While I'd probably agree with Monsterzonk (I love them all though!), for completeness you should also check out Morthai's Warp Spiders which are also stunning. Squad on P14, exarch and tutorial on P15.

Again it's an awesome (if sadly deceased) log that deserves to be read through.

Cool stuff, gives me some ideas. I was also thinking of perhaps ordering some Forgeworld Shadow Spectres and doing some weapon conversions to them.

This also sounds like a good option, the spectres are fantastic looking models. I've heard of others also looking at Dark Eldar Scourges as an alternative.

Looks like you will need the jump packs and guns for that proper warp spider look.

Here's a few I've been working on very slowly for my evil elder army:

I've taken a few cues from many of the logs mentioned above. Hope its a help

I honestly hate the war spider jump packs. I have gone ahead and ordered the shadow spectres however. I have a lot of bits kicking around so i am sure I can do something with the guns and possibly the shoulders to achieve the desired look.

I did add the caveat "that I've seen" :P

Awesome looking models be Dark Apostle, and Morathi, but I still think zombies are the first ones to actually push the design in a meaningful way. No offence to the other two blokes, but they basically just re built the current shape in plastic.

I agree. I think zombie went in a different and unexpected direction and the result was outstanding. Unless I get plastics by the time I get round to doing them (though I'll certainly settle for new jetbikes in the interim) I'll be using his as a base, though probably with a cast of the current Exarch's head.
