Before I begin, apologies if this is the wrong place.

Anyways, I have been inspired by this piece from Dakka http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/325733-.html?m=2

To create a Kroot kill-team list, and wanted to include a Kroot Shaman, so to distinguish him/her/it from the rest of the team, I wanted to put them in robes or something similar.

tl;dr, I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to offer simple tips as to how I might create robed Kroot. Bearing in mind that my sculpting skills are pretty poor.

Thanks in advance.

Well, if you can dig up an anghkor prok fig, he is kinda robed.

Other than that, it isn't too difficult to take robed legs from somewhere else, high elves, dark angels, something, cut off the feet and glue on kroot feet. Looks like that is what the guy on Dakka did.

the hooded head might be problematic though.

This particular robed kroot looks like it was made from an elder ranger. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440241a&prodId=prod1160107a Whoever did it just cut off the rangers arms, legs, and maybe face, and replaced it with kroot parts. no sculpting necessary, just good cutting skills.

indeed, looks like a ranger, with Kroot bits. This is doable, and the sculpting won't take much skill. Hoods are good things to practice on. And it peels off nicely if you're not happy with it. You'll get the hood scuplting after 3 concerted efforts to do it or less.
