A new unreleased Genestealer - the Ymgarl Genestealer - has been found in the Bryan Ansell collection. Amazing figure!

Interesting but too much like Alien to ever be released without a whcking lawsuit.

I dunno, it actually seems a bit more Lovecraftian than Alien, although I definitely see that as well.

In the wild west of 80's miniatures I don't see any problems getting away with such resemblances as that. Looks pretty neat, I must say :3

It would be easier to distinguish what's going on in the face with a coat of paint, though.

Yea back in the day GW could make resembling models like that and not get sued.

It's no more Alien-like than the genestealer which did appear in SPace Hulk. Less so, in fact, as it appears to have the sea anenome-like face of the original illustration.

Argh. That makes three things on the "I'll never have one" Tyranids list to taunt myself with. :(

Really quite cool. Sculpted with that old school feel.

Notice that its on an old, square MC base? Thing looks so badly balanced it would tip over on a standard base.

Isn't a very appealing looking model either, even for rogue trader era.

Nice!! It actually looks vaguely akin to the old OLD metal Gaunts.

The head & body of the middle guy in particular...

Yea that's a really cool model, I would question it's actual source as everything I remember from RT was all monopose metal with plastic arms and that appears to have metal arms...But then I suppose if it's a master sculpt...

The first metal Genestealers that actually saw release had metal arms (and a slightly different head design). They were retooled later to fit the plastic hybrid arms.

Did the article say important things like where he lives, the layout of his house or the average local police response times? :p
