Part two of a painting guide by GW re painting a taurrox. Ignore the hatred for the model. The content of the video is pretty good for painters. Is this a return of free content?

I have to say, GW have done a great job on these. I watched the Scions and the Taurox videos and they had some good tips for new painters. The host, Duncan Rhodes, was clear throughout and seemed relaxed in front of the camera. I hope they keep these up!

I don't normally watch videos, but from what I am hearing these sound pretty good. Shall have to give them a watch and see if I pick up anything useful.

They have been excellent - I bet a lot of work went into making the videos. I am a seasoned painter and I must admit I've picked up a few tips. They have it spot on in that they are not trying to teach you how to win a golden daemon, but how to paint great fast.

The best thing about these videos, apart from that they are free, is that it represents GW supporting the hobbyist. Two thumbs up - very happy.

Agreed - amongst the criticism of their social media strategy/new site, these have genuinely been good, which gives me hope. They've explored things like this before and not kept them up - does anyone remember the podcasts when the last 40k rulebook came out? The in depth video discussions for the Dark Eldar were also excellent.

Very good videos those. I've never painted vehicles before and I've got an undercoated penitent engine waiting for me. Some of those techniques will come in vey handy.

They are indeed very usefull, I am very glad they are making them and I do hope they'll make them for the new Wood Elves

I watched that video the other day, it's a nice way to show off the models IMO. Hopefully they keep it up for every release/faction.
