Basically I am just wondering if Chaos Dwarves are still usable in 8th edition, I'm talking about the forgeworld list.

With them being brought out during a previous edition, I wasn't sure if they are still eligible and usable or do they struggle?

Also with end times changing the magic up a bit and 9th edition maybe next year is it wise to consider them? Do forgeworld even still support them?

They're an 8th edition army, so they're not a previous edition army.

Yes, they're still usable.

Yes, Forgeworld still sells the miniatures.

Is it wise to consider them? I dunno. That's an up to you question

Worst comes to worst, you can field them with the regular dwarf rules.

This.

What will happen in 9th edition is a question that can not be answered right now. Same for their "ET development" - as far as I know CD are hardly mentioned in the three books so far. That could change though, there are two more books coming.

Some army books/codexs overlap editions for several years or more, so 8th ed army lists should only become a concern by 10th ed at the earliest.
How many books will be unpdated before 9th for 9th? How long before every book is done for 9th?
I dont think any edition in recent history of wfb or 40k have had a fully up to date set of lists.
So id say 10th ed would be the CD limit at worst.
