Just to let you know about it. It's not a full time project but I intend to make it for real in time. The idea is to build a tool and a standard for warhammer and warhammer 40K army rosters.

Imagine you could post an army list as an attached data file you could modify, print or just browse online. Imagine you could just paste your roster in a post in phpBB format or any other broadly used forum engine.
Imagine you could share your rosters no matter what language you created the roster in and what language speaks the person you intend to share the roster with.

I think that's enough imagination, but that's what I have in mind. Any ideas?...

I'm sorry but, can I know why I should forget about it? Or why this thread should be closed? I just don't get it.

Did I trespass any forum rules?

And btw I missed typed the url. It's http://wort-dev.blogspot.com

Listing the points value of everything online could be construed as violating GWs copyright. Apart from legal issues, its not allowed on these forums.

I don't see any points costs here or in that link, or anything that violates GW's copyright. And there is nothing that says this tool will have to include points costs or anything else.

Perhaps I misunderstood the idea. If it is just a layout thing for rosters, that is alright. However, a free army-builder like tool would probably upset GW.

Your original (mistyped) post was a link to a religious website.

Sorry about that, I just didn't think tricking people into visiting a religious website was exactly good forum ettiquette.

You, in fact, did not do this, and I appologise for jumping the gun :).

Probably best if you test your links before posting in future ;).
