View Full Version : My models don't really suck 10% of the time.

And I don't really like playing standard games of 40K either. Why do I have thousands of dollars worth of 40K stuff? It must be since I had so much fun playing necromunda back in the day. What should I do? Force people to necormunda a gunpoint? Why can't I bring myself to sell any of it?

Thank you, magnificent*. You've given me chance to unleash a picture which I thought I'd never be able to use...

Ah right, pointless thread, isn't it? If you don't like 40k, sell all the stuff and get a WHFB army.

03-07-2006, 12:45
I didn't think this thread is entirely pointless, I was sure other people do appalling paint jobs and conversions 90% of the time.

Well, you might have forwarded your point a little more clearly...I mean, if you confuse Doctor Who then you're gonna confuse at least 50% of the posters here.

Learn how to drybrush. This usually helps people who are stuck in the painting duldrums.

Well the Doctor is from Gallifrey, they have trouble pronouncing spanish ;).

magnificent*, in answer to your questions (if that's what they are:p) I repeatedly dissapoint myself when I realise I haven't suddenly turned into a master sculptor and painter, I gave tons of messed up stuff that should have been great, it's just trouble getting the info from my brain (which is a master painter and sculptor, lover too but that's a different story ;)) to my hands which have the artistic skill of a brick.

Necromunda was, and still is, a superb game. Don't force people to play by gunpoint, just cajole them into it with a sharpened stick to start with and they'll start to enjoy it (the game, not the stick).

I'm still confused. You bought thousands of dollars' worth of models for use in Necromunda? :wtf:

03-07-2006, 17:17
He REALLY likes Necromunda

03-07-2006, 23:14
I almost have gang :)

The problem with Necromunda was the lack of orks.

The problem with Gorkamorka was the lack of orkiness.

Holy crap 1; $ in necromunda thats like total fanboyism. You shouldn't give up on painting or what not, my Clan Rats still give me problems and I still wonder why my CSM look so much better. Or that one assassin I painted...

In spanish, you also have to have those funny unpside down questionmarks in front of the word, right? And of course a questionmark after the word too.. ;)
