What base size would you use if you were rebasing Beastmen Gors?

32mm or 25mm?

Definitely 32. They're a similar size to the new boxed set Bloodreavers who are on 32".

Edit - I did of course mean to say mm not ". Woops.

32mm, same for all that were previously based on 25mm squares.

25mm is plenty large enough, it makes them easier to get bunched up in combats as well.

Save the 32mm bases for characters.

20mm squares. They gors fit on them with no difficulty and aren't off-balanced models so tipping over isn't a problem, and this allows them to be moved closer together for combat without having to stack bases.

If the intent is to maximize their effectiveness in AoS, put them on as small bases a possible. Preferably no base at all, perhaps a small weight attached to one foot so they don't fall over.

If the intent is to have them look good next to other models on round bases, just put them on what looks best.

The easiest solution is of course to not rebase at all. Although mixing round and square bases usually don't look good IMO.

Circles and squares are too neat. Balance them on heap of their own dung. Filthy things.

I re-based my marines to 32mm and was really pleased with the result. Seeing as they are similar in size and the new chaos marauders are on 32mm, I would go for 32mm.

I know this is about gors, but ungors have to be the most debased race in all of warhammer!

I'll be putting my new marauders on 25mm rather than the 32mm they came with. Personally I think Gors would look better on 25mm. I would be tempted to put my Bestigors on 32mm.

You can get 32mm round bases on e-bay that have a slot for a smaller base in the center... Not sure if I've seen any with square slots, but it can be only a matter of time. Add some magnets to your bases and you'll be good to go.

I guess you mean the move from 20 mm square (WHFB 5th) to 25 mm square (WHFB 6th) to 20 mm square (WHFB 7th edition) to it-does-not-really-matter (AoS).

Looks like GW missed an opportunity to adjust their base size during the 8th edition...

I don't think anyone will care either way. I plan to do 25 mm so I can use them as cultists in 40k.

I would fit all my units on tiny gorkamorka bases to get a higher model density in my groups. If I were playing AoS that is.

You can easily tell who is playing AoS and who isnt by the silly comments.
I'm keeping my rank n file on squares at the moment because I like both the look and effectiveness of tight formations.
