Very rare as there is no foot unit with the blessing, but say the king had his monstrous hippogryph killed beneath him and found himself on foot, would the blessing stack with his hw and shield parry like mot would?

Ward saves do not "stack" in the manner of armour. There are no rules that would allow this anywhere.

As for the Mark of Tzeentch and similar rules, while people like to think of them as "stacking" wards, they are in fact special rules that explicitly grant a bonus to an existing ward or grant a ward themselves; two separate, conditional, effects – only one of which can apply at any given moment.

It is very similar to the Grail Pilgrims. They have the Parry Save *if* they happen to lose the Ward Save (assuming the Bret side prayed, of course).
