hey,
first off: I am pretty sure this is the wrong Forum Section to post this, but I couldn't find a better one.

It's about the 54mm Version of 'Monique de Noir' from Reaper. I'd really like to see her compared to warhammer (Vampire Counts Charakters) miniatures (which are usually sth. around 32mm), since I won't buy her if dhe's way too big.

best Regards

54mm is going to be pretty large compared to a WHF heroic-scale model. It's a beautiful model, but she'd be about the size of an Ogre in a WHF army.

Seconded. 54mm is gigantic. You can even test this yourself by standing a ruler on end next to a GW figure to see how much distance there is between 32 and 54mm from a visual perspective.

Thanks for your answers :)
I intended her to have a 'northman' origin to explain her larger size, but Ogresized is even too big for a North(wo)man ^_^
gosh why isn't there the exact same Model in 32mm ~_~

Not exactly the same pose, but certainly the same equipment: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/monique%20denoir/sku-down/02551

I have this figure on my painting desk right now...

Damon.

I dislike the helmet and the Pose otherwise I'd buy her :/

I have that model, too. It's fantastic. I'm planning on putting it to use, soon. :)

I'm not a huge fan of Werner Klocke's sculpting style, but a few figures (like Monique) he knocks out of the park.. :)

Damon.

You could use her for Warhammer. I mean the old Neferata model i believe was a similar size to the model you are considering

That was a 32mm, and probably on the 28mm side of things.

Amusingly enough, while I usually like his models, I'm not a fan of that one.

Yeah that one, i have never actually seen it in the flesh, i always thought she was Orion size.

Thanks for clearing up my misinformation Lord Dan :)

Looks like Neferata is a fair bit smaller after all

Nah, she's about the size of the old Bretonnian Damsel in a similar pose. In fact all those Lahmian Vampires were on the small side, which was cool because in game your opponent would be all "Oh, how cute, a tiny little girl t-" right as she ripped their general's throat out.
