View Full Version : wounds caused by a warp lighting cannon
Skaven versus ogres... Warp lighting cannon shots a stonehorn. Now does the warp lighting cannon inflict one shot that does a random number of wounds that then would be halved by the stonehorn's ability or does it inflict up to six single shots each inflicting one mortal wound that cannot be halved.

Even if it did six individual shots, the stonehorn would still halve the damage taken.
It's one shot, doing 0-6 mortal wounds on whatever unit it's firing at.
The enemy then distributes this damage onto the unit as they like.
its always as follows:
Roll to Hit -> Roll to wound -> Roll save -> apply damage be it 1 dmg or D6 dmg.
if its mortal wounds you roll to hit and then simply apply the dmg
then any other rules, like halving wounds apply.
