Anyone going to buy the psp? Im not at £180, i dont care how good it is, id rather use the money for a ps3 (coming out a few months later). Plus, the games are going to be £25+. Shame. looked quite good at first as well.

The PS3 is quite some time from release especially in the UK/Europe, Sony's track record on European releases is almost as bad as Nintendo's.

I'll probably buy a PSP at some point but not at launch.

From what i heard (from e3) its psp in the autum (UK), and ps3 spring 2005, so not to long. But your right on sony's track record.

Here's what I found:


When will PS3 come out?
At the end of a promotional video played during the PlayStation 3 launch event, the words “Spring 2006” were displayed on the screen – thus implying the console will be released sometime during this period. When exactly, and to which countries, is currently unknown. The rumors, however, point to a worldwide launch in March 2006.
The PS3 will come out at roughly or exactly the same time as Halo 3 for the Xbox 2. Microsoft are putting a lot on seeing if Halo 3 sells well enough, but, as the Xbox 3 will be out sooner it should have a chance.

Exactly what i heard great Harlequin. Halo 3 is going to be released around ps3, trying to lure gamers away from ps3, to buy halo3 and/or xbox2

Bill Gates made a statement about that to TIME, as their cover article was on the Xbox 360.

I thought Microsoft did the same thing with HALO 2 and the slimline ps2. And apparently it worked quite well.
