I am interested in starting both of these games but I am not sure where to start. Specifically I am interested in where to find the newest version of their rules.

Thanks in advance.

As much as I dislike them, the living rules on the Specialist Games website is the best place for you to start.

That's a fair enough point. :)

I can't say FUMBBL really interested me at all, but hey that's just me. :p

Fumbbl is a good start, a great place to learn, and you can always find an opponent easily, which is something you can't always do with tabletop. (And you can't play tabletop in your bedroom at 3AM in your undies, either.)

The new version of the Blood Bowl rules have been put on the SG site this week, apparently thsi will be the version used for the next reprint/edition.

Why? No space marines?

Good choice Wargamejunkie. Simply visit http://www.specialist-games.com/bloodbowl/default.asp and http://www.specialist-games.com/mordheim/default.asp - click on the 'Rulebook' link on the left and download it.

No need to worry about the latest version - they update it and remove the old one whenever it's needed.

Meh, FUMBBL is about the best learning resource you can get. You can try all the teams and tactics before buying, as well as pick up tricks from some of the best coaches around the world. I was a routine loser in my local leagues before spending a while there, now I've won one and runner-upped two of the past three leagues.

No Jedi not because theres no space marines, I've played Blood Bowl for a good 8 years and while I've not played much Mordheim I've had the rules for 5 or so years, I also play Necromunda not really many space marines in that, oh and I've got 4000pts of Imperial Guard and 0 points of Space Marines, and I've played Fantasy for 12 years, you can commence shutting up now thank you very much.
 :p
;)

As my first post stated I dislike the Living Rules. They are a bad concept cause it means they can change the rules instantly from any pressure rather than the regular years of playtesting games usually have to go though.
