I ordered some bits from them on August 2nd and they have yet to ship. I talked to Customer Service on Aug 8 and they said they would ship tomorrow. They have yet to ship my items. Has anyone else had a problem with them?

A few days over a weekend when they have to order in sprues and trim the bits you want from them? Give them a chance, I think.

What did you order? Something unusual they'd have to source from GW?

There have now been several threads on this (remember that Searchy is your friend ;) )... and I'll say again: I've had absolutely no difficulties in my dealings with them.

Pintle-mounted Storm-Bolters and a few other standard marine items. I am giving them a chance. But 8 days and still no shipment is a bit long. If the shipping/packaging times take more than a week, I think they should at least state that on the site.

Ok, cool. I was just curious and will give them a bit more time.

They've been having some issues with suppliers of late, which has delayed one of my orders. Still, they've split it in half and are sending everything bar the out-of-stock items, with no extra charge for getting the items shipped out as two deliveries.

They're generally ok, you may want to contact them if they gave you a date and then missed it though, just to check up on the status. I've never had any major issues bar my latest order (and I was ordering fifty Space Wolf shoulder pads which come one to a sprue, so I can understand the delay - I could almost buy a 1500pt army for the cost of those sprues)

Delivery can be variable, as they like to send the whole order out in one go, and being a 'one-man-band', effectively, they do not have masses of stock sitting around, so they will hold back until they have sourced everything you want.

I have always worked on the basis that specialist suppliers will be slower than large manufacturers etc. for two reasons:

- first is supply, they cannot afford to keep large stocks of everything, so you need to give them time to source/manufacture what you want, and

- second, this is rarely their prime source of income - they usually have a day job which comes first.

I normally allow two weeks before I start chasing if there is no delivery period given - though most specialist wargames figure manufacturers usually state 'allow 28 days for delivery' but will often deliver much earlier.

Try to be patient, and these guys will come through for you.
