Having a butchers at a WD, and saw an AD for BOFA. Does anyone actually play it, just asking as i have never heard anyone mention it.

I'd suggest checking the warmaster group on yahoo groups for more advice on BoFA. I don't play it, but it looks interesting

Thats the Warmaster/Epic scale LoTR thing, isn't it? Never heard of anyone actually playing it, and I've never even seen it in store either...

I felt it had a lot of potential, but the decision was made for me not to play, as no one I know picked it as a winner.

I think it's very unlikely that you'll find anyone here, might be worth restarting this thread across in LoTR.

I don't play the game, and don't plan to. Just wondering if there was anyone that did.

I've often wondered about this: I've been in a couple of GW stores and I've never even seen the game let alone anyone actually playing it.

I seen the box set once in my local indie, and once in a GW- Liverpool or possibly the Trafford one, can't remember which, and that's it.

I haven't played it but on the warmaster group on yahoo it clearly has it's fans.

AFAIK the rules system is essentially warmaster based

What folks say is it's relatively inexpensive and has a pretty solid / interesting rules set.

It does look very interesting, but I have never played it myself, I dont know any one who has played it niether. In fact I dont think I have actually seen it for sale any where.

I bought it but my inexperience with painting warmaster figures and some badly aligned tabs kinda killed any attempt to get it painted up and played. Still, one day i would like to give it a try. A rainy day perhaps... but not this one;).

Good looord no. Warmaster, but without the unit choice? No thanks.

It'd be great if it was fleshed out more- it'd be my epic system of choice; but it isn't, so I don't.

Nobody around here I know of is playing it (or Warmaster).
