I wouldn't mind at all either. As long as you let me know before the start of the game, I couldn't care less really.

It's fine IMO. As long as you explain to people what you are doing they should be fine with it. I would sugest 'blinging' them up a bit to fit their veteran station (so plenty of purity seals, ornate armour, older models of power armour etc)

There is no such thing as a Tactical Marine model...

There are only Marine building parts and the way you paint them - get the markings and heraldics right and no-one will complain...

If a Chapter has its first company as veterans that is roughly 100 men. It is fairly well known that very few Chapters can field an entire terminator company. Given that I would have no problem with first company painted as veterans in power armor.

Heck, GW used to paint Deathwing in power armor, so why not?

I would allow it only if all unit markings are correct.
