im just wondering if anggrath is counted as a character as at my local club you can use forge world rule no matter what anybody says.

No one would come equipped to deal with him

He is like, the ownage Bloodthirster.
A T8, S10, 8 Attack, Flying 2+ Save, 4+ Inv Killing Machine.
888 Points.
If you field him, don't expect to have many friends afterwards,

For 888 points you can get a heck of a lot of Lascannons....

He's not pure cheese, he's fine, high quality moon rock.

Uh, he's very fun for non-tournament games. :D

I took Anggrath the Unbound to Guildfords Veteran Night a few weeks ago. It was cool, almost everyone admired it but I could only find one guy that would dare face it. :P

Of course I won with it.

I think that, even if Ang is a "Character", as a FW model he probably needs prior opponent consent. Even if it's only out of courtesy, since he's 150% the price of a Baneblade and equally scary.

I'd like to see him take on a CC-oriented Reaver Titan. Mmm, Titan Chainfists...

I love the way they say he can just count as a bloodthirster.

I played against someone who fielded him in an 1850 battle.
I was using Tau. and played the mission (Seek and Destroy Alpha level).
when the smoke cleared my opponent had anggrath and a demon prince on the field. I had 6 scoring units left.

He had to many points in Independent characters and only had 3 small troop squads.

I love the way they say he can just count as a bloodthirster.

I played against one "counting as" normal 'Thirster. Very nice model, but so big it's a nightmare to move it around the table ... and clearly a nightmarish vision for my poor mins.

I'd play against him just for the sheer novalty of it, plus it meens I could get away with using my Superheavy tank

also my GreyKnights Grand Master would want to have some "words" with him.

At a tournament here...one player had Ang'grath. Only the demonhunter players were able to beat him easily. (someone used Coteaz whose special rules make it not that hard to do, if you are smart and position him with a grand master properly)
