I'm just wondering, what fighter ordnance markers do you all use? I've recently bought some B5 fighters ofr my dark eldar and want to get a decent ammount of economy out of them.

I have spare large round/square bases, but I think they'll be slightly too large. I also bought some mines and I don't really want to pute them all on epic bases, does anyone have any suggestions?

I use the cardboard tokens, but I keep promising myself some of theose little 3d ones that Specialist Games released...

The smaller size square Warhammer bases are the perfect size for attack craft markers. I think they're 20mm by 20mm.

Cardboard markers from the game box and WFb 20x20 bases.

I use the metal GW ones and the resin FW thunderhawks. I mount them on the regular 25mm round bases. All bases are round for the other ships, it just made sense to use round bases for everything. No problems from the extra 5mm or placing them together in waves. The other BFG people (or most of the time, person :p) in my gaming group liked the look so they mounted theirs on 25mm round bases also.

How strange. Not sure how happy I would be if my opponent was using such large attack craft markers - far too easy to block my missile salvoes  .

One penny coins are about right as bases, and fit 3 GW fighters a piece, rather than the five the supplied (epic infantry) stand would.

I have my Resin T-Hawks mounted on the 25 mm Epic Base. Right now I use the cardboard from the orginal box sets for my Imperials.

Ground Zero Full Thrust attack craft, on 'spider bases' (essentially a flying stand with six arms and an attack craft on the end of each.

I been looking on the brigade models site and it looks like they have a 10+ different attack craft types, and some look pretty good. Some have three armed "spider bases". Most are 1.50 for 12, might be worth taking a look?

Does anyone use mines? I didn't like them on the epic bases so i put each one on an individual piece of plasticard.

I use Mines, I put an inividual scratch built mine on a 25mm round base.

Mines are fun and they can turn the tide of a game instantly with their nice 8 attacks :) .

I too was a little bothered by the different sized attack craft base idea. I made dreadclaws from epic space marine dreadnaught powerfists and celuxius assasin eye-pieces (before forgeworld made theirs) and made bases by cutting thick plasticard to the size of the cardboard markers. I drilled spall holes into the craft and into the base and put 3 on each base. They look pretty good, and dont bother my opponents as far as base-size is concerned. I have yet to put my Thawks on bases and am still waiting for my Forgeworld Tau fleet to get here with the mantas and baracudas...

Got a ...uh, ordnance marker related question.

Are Eldar fighters and bombers allowed to move twice, like the big ships, or only once?

Eldar fighters and bombers move in the same way as regular ordnance - once in your own ordnance phase and once in your opponent's ordnance phase.

Okay, thanks. That's what I thought.
