What statistic is used for tests by chariots. Is it always the rider or does it depend on the statistic in question e.g the riders have no toughness value, does this mean that they automatically fail a toughness test?

You use the toughness listed for the chariot.;)

S of impact hits and T from chariot because it has nothing else.. Everything else from the riders/crew or character for Ld.

When you are called on to make a test, check the chariot's profile. If there is only a single stat value (e.g. for Tougnhess) then you use that. Otherwise you should check the description of the test and see if it deals with the possibility of composite models.

E.g. one of the giant's attacks calls for an Initiative test against the lowest Initiative value of the model.

What if it is not specified whether the highest or lowest characteristic is to be used?
