I agree. I saw a picture of one of the tank-mecha things in my game shot and instantly loved it. I am thinking of starting confrontation just because i lurve the models sooo much.

At-43 looks really nice indeed. The models and the rules...

I already made up my mind to buy the initiation set they're releasing December. But then I heard the price: 80€! And you get only 19 miniatures, a rulebook, that does not contain the complete rules, some terrain and the usual, dice, measures etc.

I think Rackham has made a really bad choice here... Isn't the whole point of starter sets to get gamers sucked into the game easily? I don't see that happening with that price tag.

I just wish they continually offered pics of the the actual paintjobs as opposed to the studio jobs

Well, as far as i can tell, the game is not done yet. so my guess is that this particular starter set is more for exisiting players/collectors to buy and mull over till the game gets more complete. their forums even seem to lean towards taking in the players thoughts, in a playtesting fashion.

I wonder if they will release this excellent piece of terrain seperatly?

I could easily see myself getting dozens of them!

Rackham continues to astonish me with the quality of their minis, and now in prepainted form for the lazy folks like me:D This makes me a very very happy camper!

My FLGS told me they'd match Warstore Pricing on AT-43. Nice.

$60 sounds good. I just got to get someone to send it to me to avoid customs and taxes (22% :( ). Volunteers? :D
