I've been out of the 40k loop for a while but I picked up an issue of WD yesterday and saw the awesome new Eldar stuff, but theres something I don't quite grasp.

Are the dire avengers using the guardian legs or new ones? in the WD it shows the complete legs as one part, but knowing GW and seeing the guardians sprue I think they maybe 1 leg parts combind.

So can anyone tell me?

They're completely new sprues to my knowledge. Damn sweet ones too. I might pick up a box just to paint.

That was my plan for Christmas, but I can't stand the guardian legs, so unless I can whore dires as main troops I'm going to just buy a box to paint up.

you will be a happy bunny then considering Dire Avengers are still troops and darn effective ones at that.

They're fine for mainstay troops. A bit expensive and no heavy fire support, but a nice 4+ save and they're FAST.
