ok i decided that its time for a fresh start. i have put away all my old Eldar and started new. (ok ok ok, the wraithlord were a must and that swayed me)

any who.

i am starting so the my craftworld, Mon-Iyen, is fresh to the battlefield. so they are starting with guardians, wraithlords, vehicles and farseers. then after i have played some games i will start replacing those with aspect warriors, as in my craftworld is maturing.

this is what i have so far for my wraithlord.

ok you can see i carved his leg a bit. i have to green stuff it up a bit, i still have to clean up mold lines and generally clean the model, but its a WIP.

i will be adding more tommorrow, the sword is being a bitch and i need to pin it... :(

cheers

thanks
yeah my colour scheeme is a basecoat of black then lich purple. then a stipple effect warlock purple, then a second stipple effect of 15/85 skull white and warlock purple.

here are some more picks of the wraithlord. i moved him round a bit and he has dried up a bit so he is a bit more stable. but he is still far from done.

the leg war fairly easy, infact really easy, but i kept dropping his knee cap onto the carpet, that was the hard part.

cool, the stipple effect sounds nice, sort of like aloitoc eldar? Some photos of any test models you've done would be nice.

Pretty cool, but just out of curiosity, is there a non-sword right hand?

cheers iron fish.

i havent done any test models hiredsword, but when i do i will be sure to post them. but yes i am doing it because i like the look of alitoc but my old eldar were purple and then GW came out with Altansar, which looked exactly like my craftworlds sheeme.

here are the guidle lines i based on how i cut up the wraithlords leg.
