Does anyone know the name of the old armorcast
four-legged titan? I've only seen it once or twice,
but want to learn more about it.
Also, does anyone know of any "updated" rules I
can use for my Phantom?

The four legged titan might have been a Knight Suit.

As for updated Phantom rules, I do not believe there are any.

Knight Suit? ok, I'll try looking for it.
I suppose VDR would be the best way
to go for the Phantom?

Just remember eldar tanks don't use AV 13 or 14.

6 Structure points, a 4+ invuln. save, 12 all round and you've probably got it.

As far as I know Armorcast did not make an Titan (Eldar or Imperial) with four legs, however I do remember seeing a conversion that was a cut and shunt of two titans. Armorcast would sell off (by the pound) resin titan parts that had not been cast properly, usually they were cut in half and sold as suitable for scenery. The titan you saw could have been made up from the cast offs, the Chaos titans from Armorcast were produced from casts that did not make the cut and were converted in house and sent out to retailers to show what could be done. These proved popular and Armorcast then produced some Chaos iconography to place on vehicles and titans.

Hope this helps.

I do remember there being an Eldar Knight suit back in 1990 that had four legs.

as far as i can remember the 4 legged titan was called a "Bright Stallion"

The knight titan was the dumpy looking one with the big head sword and short stubby gun
