Hi all back again =) well ive sculpted Sauron. Ive based him on archaon on foot model, i think the conversion is really nice :rolleyes:

Anyways i think tzeentch is suiteble for him. mighty leader that swings all before him and shooting evil magic! nice sight hehe.


Well here comes the list. note that im totally noob at tzeentch, so really dont know how to build an good army whit em. Other than i dont want an army of only damn characters, ive seen those boring list whit a dude on dragon the rest fly whit discs and then there are like 242144 chariots. BORING is say. :mad:

personally i have found that to make a tzeentch army work on a magical front you have to generate as many power dice from units as possible otherwise you actually end up being under par with your number of dice because your wizards are so expensive, i would personally drop some of the marauder units for some chaos warriors, and maybe take out some of your other choices to get another hero

you should still try your way before you give up on it, as after all what works for one player may not work for another

As mentioned above, the army will work except for the Marauders. They are your slowest unit as well as your weakest.
Some suggestions:
1) Replace at least 1 unit of Marauders with Marauder Horsemen
2) Some cheap sacrificials - Warhounds
3) Consider Chaos Sorcerers, Champions with the mark of Tzeentch
4) Your Lord is nearly 500pts - very tempting. You don't have to weaken him but you could stick to a simple Armour of Damnation etc and reduce his pts.
I tend to prefer a DP for Tzeentchian armies which will enable you to have another unit of Screamers and possibly Horrors/Flamers.

Yay! Another Tzeentch Marauder Army!

I would agree with the need for Marauder horsemen. They will help protect your flanks.

I would want to take a unit of Warriors with Mark instead of one of the smaller Marauder units and Big Moos. They are a really solid unit and provide another Power Dice if Marked. Give them a Blasted Standard. Your opponent is gonna struggle to dispel everything you cast so that Bound Item may just get through.

I think you could reduce the unit size of the 32 Marauders and bump up the other units. Even 24 per unit is a fine number.
