I haven't read the FOTN, or in particular his rules. But I was just wondering if anyone around here has indeed used him and what he thinks of the unit, I was expecting the unit to be kinda like a special magic unit that isnt that great in combat. But please, all comments are welcome!

The necromancer is mainly a spell caster and has no great skill in combat. He is safe from ranged attacks because all man bows need 6/5 to wound him. His spells are numerous and he can use his 25 will points as fate points. He gets -1 to his roll to win the combat as he is unarmed. He has the same ancient evil rule as the balrog and has a strengh of 6 and 3 might points. The best thing about him is that anyone who suffers a wound from him in close combat dies automatically, unless the wound is saved by fate.
