Well I'm new on Warseer. I've mainly been hanging out on other sites but I thought I'd post the process on my Tyranid Army as they stand now.

Whole Army Shot (everything I have painted so far, minus 1 fex)

For some strange reason those Carnifex's look real little in the close up photo. I like what you did with the Zanaphropes. I love the colour scheme and the way you highlighted it. And that mass gaunt shot looks cool :)

Very nice scheme and very well painted.

The zoanthrope conversions are a very nice idea, it makes them seem more agile and sleek. How did you do it?

Keep up the good work

not much of a conversion really. I just kinda bent their tails so that they wrapped around the jungle trees

They look awesome! Great high lighting.
How did you paint the armour plates?
1) Prime black

2) Cover skin parts with codex grey (1 layer should do it, grey has good covereage on black)

3) Cover bone and armor parts in Scorched Brown

4) cover the whole model with a wash for 50-50 black ink and waer

5) go over grey areas in codex grey again leaving the darkened shadows. do the same thing with the scorched brown

6) highlight the grey with progressive blends of white and codex gre

7) draw streaks on teh scorched brown with snakebit leather, then progress with streaks of progressive blends of snakebit and white until you hit a color almost like bleached bone.

for the blue parts, its just ultramarines blue and then iceblue for highlights.

hope that helped.

So whens the first update

haha RIGHT NOW! Well i kinda forgot about this log to be honest. its from when I first started posting here. But here was the latest update in the other log on another site (I believe this is from early february right before i left Canada)

Oh and I ordered a set of forgeworld ripper bases to add into my third ripper swarm brood of 10. they should arrive soon. As you can tell I'm going for hybrid godzilla and swarm army.

The army looks awesome! The carnifex's are my favortie so far, they look great. The flyrant is looking good too. I just started Tyranids and this is a great inspiration to me.
