I just got the box set and have a few questions.

I assembled the IN cruisers as a Mars, Armaggedon, Lunar and Gothic. I have a Retribution and 4 more cruisers coming in the mail. What should I assemble the 4 other cruisers as.

Also where can I find light cruisers? I dont see them on the GW website.

On to the chaos stuff. I want to make a 2000 point fleet. What should I add to the 4 unassembled cruisers to get there?

1. consider some tyrants with upgraded batteries

2. search for dauntless in bfg. for example:
http://store.us.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.us?WCI=Menu&WCE=Search&Query=dauntless&System=Battlefleet+Gothic&Image1.x=0&Image1.y=0&Image1=Search

3. devastations, slaughters and carnages are all great chaos cruisers

Thanks a bunch. I never thought of searching for the ships themselves.

Imperial: You might want a Dictator or two to flesh out your attack craft.

Chaos: Repulsive grand cruisers are great ships.

ahh the repulsive class.....so many fond memories hehe so many ships destroyed, it may be slow, but it hits like a ton of bricks.

as for imperials Tyrants are good, as are Dictators, as said above, and I also find Gothics with a couple of swords to be quite useful

Is it ever Kosher to take the upgrade/replacement for The Murder Class?

Losing the strength 10 batteries to gain an extra 4 lance dice?

I'm not a fan of the modified Murders.

The Acheron is a better lance boat.

How is it that the modified Murder works anyway? The sentence is a typo, and says "Firepower 4 and Strength 2 Lances". I've always assumed this meant S4 45cm Weapon Batteries and S2 45cm Lances, which is interesting but not exactly worth while IMO. Is that how it works?

Yeah it's a confusing sentence.

But if you go back and look at page 20, you'll notice that firepower is a word they use only for batteries, while strength is a word used only on other types of weaponry.

So your assumption is right.
